Jk. Regular cow leather would be great for 243. No need to go the exotic route to make the 243 great again.

Thanks man. Do you by chance know what size the buckle is that comes on the rep rubber strap? I'd like to be able to use if on a leather ammo type strap.

I'm actually not sure to tell you the truth, since I got mine m2m and it didn't have the rubber. If you find a strap you really like and it turns out to be the wrong size for the buckle, buckles are super cheap from aliexpress in any size.

The rep buckle that comes with the PAM243 is the same size as what's on the gen, 22mm. If you will buy straps based on that, make sure your straps are 24/22. Or the other option, get a 24mm rep buckle easily obtainable from ebay or even M2M.

Its from Sakai Straps. Very nice guy from Thailand. You will find him on Facebook "Sakai Straps". Very responsive, fast, prices are Ok also. Can only recommend [emoji106]

search ebay for 24mm panerai straps. lots of options.
I have a rep leather band on my 243 right now, but im looking at getting a 5mm thick leather band.
