Hi!
After spending many hours reading reviews, ALE'S guide and 570+ pages of pictures, I have to make a decision and order my first rep. I don't know how a 47' submersible will look on my 17,5 cm (6.9 inches) wirst. If there are owners of Pam243, 571 and 569 with the same wirst size, I would appreciate any wirst shot. I'm also interested in 372.

And if it is possible, someone to correct the title, 569 instead of 564

I have both the 571 and the 569.
Can't go wrong with both.
I really like the "12" and "6" on the dail of the 571 and on the 569 the patina lume and the hobnail/waffle dail stand out.
My personal opinion is that I find the 243 to high for the diameter of the watch.
I'd get a 024 if your looking for a 44mm diver.
Just my 2cents.
I'd have to measure my wrist as I don't know my measurements but here are some pictures for reference.

I agree that 571 and 569 look more balanced, but I don't know how they look on my 17,5 cm wirst. I saw a picture with a pam 364 on a 17,5 cm wirst and it was really huge

I have all three and you can't go wrong with any of them. Each brings their own uniqueness to the proverbial table (so I tell myself, :lmao: ). If your 17.5cm wrist gives you pause, then imagine my dilemma with my 16.25cm wrist.

571 and 569 with seagull or Asian movement?

Sent from the RWI App

You might be interested to know that Seagull is Chinese and therefore also Asian (its complete name is Tianjin Seagull). ;) I presume you meant Seagull or the A7750 movement. Pick your poison, the Seagull version will be cheaper, but if it breaks, more expensive to repair (as the usual route is replacement) compared to the A7750, which is more expensive but parts are easier to source. In terms of reliability, the A7750 has been out far longer than the ST2555 used in the PAM reps, but from my experience, they are about the same.

Sorry for my mistake, I was trying to say A 7750. I 've read that seagull have noisy rotor and in some occasions stopped to working. On the other hand, some modders say that A 7750 comes out with dirt and need to be serviced.

Of course, you will read bad things about the movements. Human nature dictates that we complain when something is wrong but stay silent when everything is going well. The A7750 has been out for a long time, if it was THAT problematic (still), then factories would have stopped using it. It's in a large portion of reps, not only PAMs. Now are the modders correct, probably yes, for the movements that they've encountered. You don't bring in a car to the mechanic because it's running fine (well I don't anyway :lmao: ). As much as the A7750 (or any rep movement in general) has improved over the years, it is still assembled by underpaid workers working in God knows what environment. It might even be dirt from stocking too many of those movements somewhere as like I said the A7750 has been out for years already.

If it really bothers you, then have a rep-friendly watchmaker have a look at your watch when you get it and have it serviced right away. Any rotor noise or dirt will be easily remedied. Then you'll have a much more reliable watch for years to come. Personally, I have not brought any single PAM I've bought to my watchmaker to have the movement serviced, ever. But if it fails, then that's when I get it repaired and serviced. Either way is fine.

Thanks mysterio. There is a war of words about these movements. I've asked the question mostly to know your preference

My preference is whatever is available, so Seagull or A7750 are both perfectly fine for me.

The non-chrono A7750 is a perfectly fine movement. It is as easy to service as a 6497 and Swiss parts are interchangeable.

Dirty/dry movements is an issue for all reps, don't let that steer you away. I would always lean towards the 7750 over the seagul due to the available Swiss part replacements.

Regarding the watches.
PAM243 from noob is one of the best reps ever made. And it's slightly more versatile with its 44mm sub case.
Then PAM569
Then PAM571

The last two have some slight but obvious inaccuracies, once you know what to look for.

I think that Pam243 is only available now from h factory, v3 edition (I can't find any reviews and evaluation of this version). Kw 571 and 569 are also considered as super reps

The upper polished external bezel edge is more gen-like at 571 and 569 and this is the only inaccuracie of 243. I don't know the inaccuracies at 571 and 569

Finally I've decided to go with a 44' PAM for first time, so I ordered a PAM243m h factory V3. As I said before, I can't find a review of this latest version (v3). I would appreciate if anyone could tell me what are the differences with version 2 on ALE' S GUIDE, or post any pics.
I also received my qc pics. I know that I can't post qc pics here but I have a question about a misalligned(??) pearl I wonder if anyone can help me (with pm - if it is allowed)
