PAM243 He valve crooked. How can I fix it?

My PAM243 He valve came crooked. I'd like to open up the watch and center it, but I'm not sure how it's mounted from the back. Before I dive in, can the experts tell me if it'll just pop out or is it stuck solid?

Thanks.

Oh really? That's cool. I searched for gen pics and all I saw were straight ones.

They are like that, it's intentionally angled. I am a proud owner of one :)

Leave it alone. Mine came a bit tilted too and then I saw pics of gen 243 with tilted valves....

use adhesive tape, lightly stick and turn as you like

I might not have the need to turn the He valve (also seen gen pics with the valve tilted) but nice to know two ways of straightening them out in case I have a hankering to do so. :D

I now see pics of the gen with crooked He valves so it doesn't bother me anymore.

But I did try both the pencil rubber and rolled up tape and the HE valve didn't budge at all.

So crooked it is :)

It's part of the construction of an He valve. The head floats on a spring. When the pressure inside the case is more than the outside the head moves away from the case to release the pressure.

Long story short.....it lives where it lives. ;)
