Hi friends,

Trying to buy a decent GMT 233(8days) or 270 (10days)...

Ale is referring to 233 as ''relative good quality''.

The detail i see in the dial, is that in the 233 rep you don't have the PM and AM indications @9 in the small seconds sub-dial.

Instead, you get a small like ''moon'' indication @6 inside the small seconds sub-dial @9.

Whereas, in the 270 rep you get these indications more accurately..
Also, i could not find 270 in ALE's Ref. Probably because there is no interest and no decent rep of it.

Strange but seems true.

Thanks..

The "moon" you're referring to is called "dot" dial. The gen 233 has both the dot dial and the AM/PM dial with the dot dial being present on the early 233 (I believe from series I to K). However, OP changed the dot dial to the AM/PM dial from series L to present. Thus, the dot dial 233 became rare and sought after from what I saw.

So, the rep 233 is not wrong for having the dot dial. Although from seeing Luth pics, the series doesn't match with the dial (L is supposed to have AM/PM dial).

Holy resurrect the dead, Batman! You could have just created a new thread. Besides, there isn't even anything new with the PAM233 reps, still the old asian movement with the bad date font.
