went to the AD today (Lilliquest and Beckstead) and absolutely fell in love with the Luminor 1950 8 Days GMT 44mm ...



I came within a hair of dropping 12k for this sucker and just couldn't bring myself to do it ... my wife even through up her hands and said it was my decision .... talk about fighting the ultimate impulse buy

Long story short, I could not bring myself to drop than kind of cash on it when there are so many reps that I have on my list, although I think that this sucker is going on the short list for a gen purchase.

So am I dreaming or might we see a decent rep of this anytime soon? Obviously the 8 day PR wouldn't happen but I don't know enough about movements to know whether this rep could be done easily. Looks possible ... seconds at 9, GMT, Date window at 3, 28.8 alt/hr. ... Thoughts?

i have the same questions, you can see her in all watchmagazine in france, i hope a rep will be born soon( with swiss mouvement because too much complication)

There is already a crappy rep out there with no PR indicator, no day/night indicator for the GMT hand. I don't think we'll see a good rep of this anytime soon.
