To celebrate the first few days of summer I thought I'd take some outdoor shots of my new favourite dress watch - It's now totally finished. These are my first ever watch pictures -It's not as easy as it looks is it!

It's got a Davidsen Cannon Pin fix and Davidsen Superlumed dial and handset and a lovely Bob strap in Dark Alligator. But the best mod of all...

I was lucky enough to find a newly serviced Gold coloured Bulova Swiss Unitas 6497 on Ebay a year or so ago and put it into the watch. I think it's brass but i'm not sure. I haven't seen anything like it on Ebay since then and I look all the time. I think these are pretty rare things.

I really like the all Gold effect. I'd be grateful for your enlightened opinion as to whether it works or not - it's difficult to judge when you've been looking at it for so long.

That is a great looking movement really compliments the watch. Lume shot looks awesome!

Thanks for the reply. I'm really pleased with the way it came out - I think Panerai should have done the same to be honest - it just doesn't look right in my opinion with a Gold case and caseback, but a silver mechanism. For $15,000 you'd think they might make the colour universal.

very nice...gold case with gold tone movement makes sense especially with clear caseback. Thanks for showing.

Wow - what a team, Panerai and Bulova, this kinda reminds me of old Panerai-Rolex relationship from late 30-es.

Awesome result! Keeper for sure

I really like the gold Radiomir, but I have to agree the gold movement makes this watch. That is beautiful.

It's Ironic that you should say that as I've come to the conclusion that no matter howhard I try, I just can't carry a gold watch off. It just doesn't suit my style. As they say the watch wears me and not the other way around. I thinks it's just going to be admired in my watch box so I'm going to sell it and build something special I can wear.

Thanks for the comments though guys - it's always good to get my fellow peers opinions.
