PAM199 ULTIMATE BEZEL ALIGNMENT

I just got a pam199 ultimate and the bezel does not line up properly and I was told by the dealer that all the 199's are the same (they offered me a refund great seller). However, I talked to a couple of people who have the same watch from the same dealer and they told me their bezel lines up great. So now I just want to poll everyone that has this watch and see how many have good bezel position to see if I should just exchange it or get another watch. Unless someone knows a way to correct bezel alignment on one of these.

ok dsu,

I voted yes, but then looked down at my wrist and I wouldn't call it perfectly line up. It is lined up exactly the same as my original 25. The bezel does have a tad more play in it though. I just spent some time trying to get some shots for you... I have shaky hands so this is the best I could do, sorry. Mine are both from Andrew.

Honestly this is my favorite rep EVER. I have skinny wrists and the 44mm sub wears smaller than a 44mm luminor. I now have two gen panerais but I am hesitant to get a sub because they are much more prone to damage and problems than the other models.

How poorly is yours lined up?

The bezel allignment on my new 199 ( arrived yesterday ) is ok, but the bezel is very loose. Any idea on how to fix that?

I thought I was wearing my Beer gogles.

You can also try taking the picuture from a little further away and then zomming into it with Paint or another photo software.

I saw a write up over at RWG that stated that this bezel was one of the hardest to remove. Which does not sound encouraging.

Here is a pic of my PAM199 which I sent back to my dealer because of the loose bezel.

Take a look and tell me if you believe that this has a miss alignment.

Hi Giorgos,

how loose is the bezel? My was really loose, I beieve about .2 mm distance between bezel and watch. Tipping with my fingernail on the bezel would make a metal noise which sounded like cheap replicas....Hard to describe.
