PAM196 Swiss 7753 - old case modded pictures

haven't posted pictures in a while, so I thought it would be about time that I share some of my modded PAM 196.

Here is what has been done to the watch:
- Superlume
- Palpatine Crown
- Sapphire AR single AR coated

how about a refresher on what makes the old case the old case and what makes the new case the new case too!

Why would the new case be less like the gen?

I agree the older case looks much better so why change it for the worse?

I seriously want one of these, just like yours.

And the new case is more inaccurate than the old case ?? :shock:
Did they change the back of the new case too, or is it still wrong?

The old case says 1028/1200 ,but I think there were only 850 produced...

Its the old case ,right? thinner bezel, smaller writing....

The new case comes with both Asian and Swiss I believe, but the new case is wrong and so is the dial (the subdial at 9 and 3 are too small), I think however that they have corrected the back and it does also have the Luminor engraving now..don't know how many were produced, but I doubt it was 850 - I think they produced 1000

The bezel IS the incorrect part. The shape of it is wrong, as are the placing of the markers, I believe.

This watch is now mine. I'm wearing it today, in fact. Thanks again, LP!

The only difference I see is that the old bezel is higher (raised in height) than the new bezel. Am I right? Thanks again

That is the biggest difference, yes. There is also a subtle double radius on the outer edge of the old bezel that isn't present on the new, thinner bezel. I also believe the markings on the old bezel are a bit more correct.
