Hi all. I was just kinda doing some stream of consciousness reading/research across the forum when I stumbled upon what I think is an indication that the late great 187 has been re-released. Is this true? Is it the "super-rep" version with 7753 mvnt? Sunken subdials? Nice shade of blue on the "1000" on the dial? I have wanted one of these for some time. Thanks.

As far as I know there are no new improvements for this replica.
The sub-dials remain almost flush with the surface (there is a little recessed in some watches, but almost no noticeable). The hands lume remains yellowish.
The blue is the same but the difference with gen is almost no noticeable

Do someone have any other info ??

So has this been available all along? I was under the impression that it was out of production for quite some time. I have wanted one of these for a while.

As far as I know, it's not available anymore after Noob 7753 PAM's clearout few months ago. When I was buying my 187, Sead told me there aren't any updates in recessed subdials and other current flaws and also that these are ones of the last pieces out there which was also confirmed by someone around here, Grimlocktime if I remember correctly.

I believe I have one of the latest stock
Sead was kind enough to search for a recessed Sub-dial for several weeks, but it is no longer available
This is may 5th 187 and other than missing recessed subdials it is the best version IMHO

Andrew told me the one he's sending me has recessed dials. Very hard to see on the QC pics but I'm trusting his word. We shall see

willbe posting some when I have time. They are barely recessed. I believe it's due to the paint being too thick. Still an awesome watch though.

Thickness of the paint can hide the concentric circles but not at all the recessed of the subdials, since the paint will cover the surface of the dial and also the surface of the recessed subdial leaving the same the level difference.
The paint, due to its viscosity and surface tension, could cover the "step" between both surfaced and making it less noticeable (the same that occurs with the concentric circles)
Therefore NO IMPROVING RECESSED SUBDIALS

i have to take some pictures but the running seconds subdial is slightly recessed while the other two look completely flat. Regardless it's still an awesome piece.

Hi. I just received mine from Pure Time - really great looking watch. I have 2 things that bothers me - first the crown sits a bit to far from the case - hopefully I can source a watchmaker to fix it. The second thing - which bother me the most - is that the bezel is 60 click!! very rough and screams fake. Perhaps it was mentioned and I didn't do my research well enough… But I have an old 187 pretty bad ( the one with vaffle dial) where the bezel is 120 click…so I assumed it would not be crappier on the noob version. Would anyone now if the innards of the bezel would be interchangeable - or maybe just send me in the direction of a tutorial of removing bezel.
On the wrist it looks god though :) and about the subdials - totally flat...

Toro told me last week that he have available the noob version, so I assumed that is the old one version without changes.....

But I don't understand why if the production has been finished some month ago, there are a lot units available....

What I have been told is that my 187 is the latest version, and market as Noob 1:1, and production is stopped. Pure Time had one in stock but said that they were hard to get, and they now had to source from other dealers with stock. I would sure like to know if the one Toro has is a new version - or the version referred to in Ales guide - the same as mine. The one I got is a very good looking watch - I think I am bothered the most about the bezel…like an old Seiko diver…..

Hey mate :)...you shouldn't be bothered about the bezel of your newly acquired 187...one click per minute is just like the gen so all is good :)
