I think I've found my first PAM, but wanted to know if there's an easy way to tell the difference between an Asian 6497 Swansneck movt and a Swiss 6497 Swansneck movt. I am going through Hon for this purchase. I was not able to understand from him if both the front and the back had sapphire with the front having a double AR.....does anyone have one of these and can comment? Including shipping Hon can get it to me for $280.....

Hi, normally you can see it at the spokes of the balance wheel and the shock-absorber at the same. Swiss has straight spokes, Asian has flared spokes and incabloc. So, the asian version looks more like the original Panerai is building based on the ETA.
