Hi all, I've had this PAM 177 rep for about 6 years now and its been great. I bought it from kuvarsit watch and have worn and wound probably 3 times a week since. Its never really missed a beat albeit the power reserve seems a little shorter recently. Its around 30hrs.

The movement is a bit louder than my other PAM but I don't mind hearing a watch working.
I just wondered if from the pics anyone could tell who has made it? I've always thought it very good quality and the Lume is amazing. I think looking back it may have been this one, but I've changed the strap for an oem PAM croco.

Is "kw" the maker kuvarsit watch? I had a few watches from them years ago but I can't seem to find an up to date site which I'm sure is actually them... The old one was orange and remained the same just with different Web address every now and then.
Anyway. Pics!
Thanks in advance

I would say that this is HF, but also noob did this model. There are enough discussion topics for this model that you could read to know more about it.

Look in the Pam reference guide. It would walk you. Right through all the details to figure out what you've got there.

It's a great tool.

It’s pretty difficult to tell by the eye. I have 3 Pam 177’s right not and had 4 a while back. 2 of mine are noob and one is an HF case with noob dial and movement. I can’t tell the cases apart no matter how. Loosely I look at the guide. Lol

Wow I would never have said that this is a replica looking at the case. The crown guard is amazingly accurate.

It's a nice crown guard but the inner corners are not squared off so it's identifiable as a rep.

Thanks for the replies. As far as servicing goes, would a watchmaker need to know the specific brand of movement for any parts or are these 6497s pretty generic? I'm not all that techie when it comes to watches, I just enjoy Wearing them.

An A6497 is pretty much a standard movement as they were produced by ETA and were used by many watch manufacturers. So anyone with decent watchmaking experience should be familiar with how to repair and service it.

Many thanks for the help. Until now I just assumed all reps were throwaway once they started getting faulty. But I've grown quite fond of this watch and would like to keep it going
