It’s possible they used gen pic but the dial looks slightly off compared to gen. Let me check if they refined their movements.

It would be an awesome update if they cloned the p9010 movement. Keeping my fingers crossed ????

The VS factory produces its own p9000 movement, which is the p9010 movement modified from the previous movement. The original one is the new generation p9010 movement. A major change of the new P9010 movement is the use of a cross-type balance bridge. , While the old P9000 movement uses a unilateral balance bridge, this feature can distinguish the new and old movements at a glance. In terms of configuration, the new P9010 movement has a swing frequency of 28,800 times per hour, 31 jewel bearings, and a 3-day power. The P9010 movement has the function of quick time zone adjustment. Pull out the crown by one gear to quickly adjust the time zone forward and backward (the hour hand will jump directly by 1 hour). At the same time, it should be noted that the P9010 movement does not have a fast calendar adjustment, and you need to use the time zone function to adjust the calendar (the same as the Omega 8900). In the polishing of the movement, the P9010 continues to maintain Panerai's consistent style. The upper plywood is mainly brushed with a large area, and the lower plywood is mainly pearly. But the appearance is basically the same, so even the movement does not have to worry about a fake.

So to my eyes the P9010 movement in the previous V6F version of the PAM1359 looks pretty much the same as this VSF one with the correct balance wheel at 11.

Why can’t VSF put this P9010 movement in the newly released PAM968 Bronze?

Definitely a good point. I might have to order this one just to change movements.

So you'll have a more accurate PAM968 and a less accurate PAM1359 in the end (which you could keep or resell to recoup some of the funds). That's one way to go about it. Another would be to just purchase the movement.

Look awesome! Let's hope the thickness will be correct. And.. Will they also release 1312?

I’ll be shocked if the thickness doesn’t match gen. I have a newish carbotech 1661 w the clone 9010 and it’s just a touch over 15mm. The gen of the 1359 is 15.7mm so my money is that they’ll match gen thickness 1:1 on this.
