PAM1312 ZF vs V6F?

I've read a few threads talking about the PAM1312 ZF and comparing it to gen, also about many issues it had due to the A7750 movement. I haven't been able to find any conclusive info on if the problems with the A7750 were fixed or on which version is better. Did a V6F version come out with the correct balance wheel @11?
Would love to hear any input from anyone who owns either version or possibly the PAM1392 that was just released recently.

I don't own a PAM1312 but I do have a PAM1359 which is working fine. There had been reports of the initial batches of the PAM1312 having issues with the movement but nothing conclusive to say either it was fixed or still existing. Not sure why the P.9010 modification would cause any issues with the A7750 as those are just decorative plates, nothing more.

Thanks for the response mysterio! I've read that the A7750 tends to have a lot of problems in general. What care do you think I should take if I do decide to get one of these? Maybe a preemptive servicing?

For consistencies in finishing, lume, finer details - go with V6F.

I have handled several 312s from these 2 factories, V6F is def more consistent.

Hello,

I also want to get a PAM 1312 or 1359 and I have already read all the posts regarding ZF & V6F. Before two days I was closer to ZF due to the less thickness (15,8mm) instead of the 18mm of V6F. Yesterday I noticed that there is a new V6 with 15,65 thickness but the Asian 23J movement. Now I am wondering which of these two are better. I would really appreciate it if you could advise..

It would be better if you included the TD links for the watch you were referring to.

Well my friend I’ve been struggling so hard a week ago cause i was damn undecided between these two watches, after researches I decided to pull the trigger on a zf, actually I would say that as far as I know both zf and v6f (vsf same thing) produce this watch with a 7750 with balance w at 11:00, moreover you can find a light edition with a 23J made by v6f .. pay attention some dealers want to rob you telling stories like this is an update but not.. I would say also that the 23J is cheaper than 7750 and I guess the issue with this movement has been solved.. have a good weekend

Any proposal guys would be highly appreciated..

Let me put the question to you, which would you pick? A wrong movement with the correct thickness (V6F 1312 V2) or the correct movement with the wrong thickness (ZF 1359)? Both the movement and the thickness are aesthetic so whichever is more important to you that looks right will determine your choice.

Friend if i'm not wrong both zf and v6f make 1312 with 7750 p9010 correct thickness.. moreover v6f make the light edition but overall all models have correct thickness. Please correct me if am wrong.

On puretime But now I’m not able to check on the website

Wow, so they're all 15.5mm thick? So they're even thinner than the 15.65mm thickness that alogakis mentioned, is this the same as gen thickness?

I dunno.. I based my answer on the infos given from the dealer

I see so in short, you have none of the watches with you to categorically prove that (at least) one of the watches are indeed 15.5mm. Thickness is something we can't judge without having the watch on hand and actually measuring with a caliper.

Indeed, when I get my watch (1312 zf 7750 balance at 11) i will measure the thickness and post if needed.
