hey guys,

i'm looking for a 127, and was wondering if anyone could provide some insight on the best place / model to buy.

i've noticed at puretime there's one for $188 that you can upgrade to a sapphire crystal for $60 and fix the cannon pin and super lume for $60 = $318

there's also this one:
http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index...d=1841&zenid=a73cc40f3270f581cfa4b1ae495ae1f4

that boasts to be an "ultimate" but i'm not sure how it would differ from puretime's version.

i'm still quite the noob when it comes to PAM's, so if you could please let me know where to go to get the best rep available (whether it be trusted dealer, or one of the custom builders), i'd really appreciate it.

thanks!

in my personal experience, the one puretime has is a really nice 127. the one trusty sells for 378 is from what I see the same, though I never held the one from trusty in my own hands, like I have with the pure time one.
an other option is the 127 that davidsen sells, but it goes for around 450$ so quite steep compared to the others.

the good things about the pure time one, imo, are: the case, the matte bridges on the movement and the fatter crown

the good things about the davidsen imo, are: the saphire crystal, the crown guard (still needs modding but a bit better engr and shape than pure time), the better lume and canon pin. the case is a bit dissappointing on the davidsen.

I'm building a mix of the 2 atm and payed for the cp/lume job on the pure time one, which for the canon pin is worth it, but really the lume job is nothing like a lume job from one of our great modders.

the lume on the davidsen is quite good, but I will still have a "real" lume job done anyway, so it really doesn't matter which one to buy for the lume, as they both have same dial ( or at least 99 % identical ) so getting a real lume job on both davidsen or pure time, would make a great dial.

over all, I feel that the pure time is definately the base in terms os available cases atm.

davidsen is pretty open to sell parts, so I think my advice would be; get a puretime, with a canon pin mod, and get the lume job from any good modder, then get the saphire (and crown guard if you're anal) from davidsen and you are set with a pretty good fiddy.

any chance someone on this board could build this for me?

i'm certainly not the person to be swapping out parts, but i do think your recommendation would provide for a great watch.

if you could help on directing me to someone who could do this for me (or even a thread i could post in with this request) i'd appreciate it.

thanks!

bud , if you cant do it yourself get the pieces you want and the watch and send it off to the modders, this board has modders in the us, europe and far east so you are covered, if you need in the us, i recommend Katt, good guy, or if your in europe or far east theres domi, goin
