Yes, that pin certainly looks recessed/short.

If it was me, I'd go with Davidsen's 010D instead. Same white base dial, but with a closed caseback. Rep movements are dead giveaways, IMO. Plus the lume and crown will be better than that 114 from Trusty.

Its recessed. I'd go with DSNs version. Trusty is a reputable site though, you'll get what you pay for.

I have to agree with Hooligan, buy a DSN. Andrew at Trustytime is definitely one of the good guys and for people new to this he is easy to buy from. Good luck.

Trusty is definitely an excellent seller but I'd spend a little more money and time and get something from Davidsen. Besides from all the aforementioned points, the lume won't be as good.

Trusty's 114...to smal cardinal numerals, green lume on hour dots and hands, his Asian mov'ts these days are luck of a draw, minute hand tube needs shortening, less quality strap...the list goes on...

And the price you pay for one of his delivered is getting pretty close to DSN's.

No contest here, DSN 114 wins hands down.
