PAM111n V3 Asian or Swiss?

How much better is this:

I'm taling about: is it 'real swiss', does the swiss have less 'tells' on movement (Y inca etc)

Asian looks closer to gen than ETA - AND has the correct vph, so not worth the upgrade really.
I generally pick swiss myself, but more for reliability and serviceability-reasons. In this case, I wouldn't.

The Y-incabloc is one of the major tells on the PAM111N V3 so if you want the most accurate rep, then it is worth getting. I don't understand the pricing though. Angus sells the incabloc upgrade for just an additional 98$, toro sells his for 170$ more.

And even if you got that, there are still steps to take. Please read the stickies on Last Steps to the Gen.

There is no specific thread about a pending update to the PAM111 although a V4 has been mentioned. The latest PAM that's being reviewed is the PAM417 which is said to have improvements over the famed Noob case. Theoretically, the case could be used to provide a better PAM111. But we'll have to wait for the review by Joe, ALE and Klockis to know what the improvements are.

Just to clarify that the so-called Swiss is a low beat and has the same Noob Swan Neck sping and screw.
It is not at all worth. as said by mysterio, to get Y Incablock better go to Puretime mod with the Noob Asian high beat

We are not trying to say that Toro is charging an excesive price.
The "base" of the movement from Toro (or others dealers selling "Swiss" 6497) is Swiss but other parts are Asian and it is low beat. Unfortunately the price is higher.
This is the reason of plus 170$

But, for the price it really is not at all worth to get this "Swiss" movement. Better Asian and get the Incabloc mod proposed by Puretime.
