So i'm going to buy my first rep, and laid my eyes on the pam111N by noob-factory. I read that the leather straps that are stock are not so good. Should it still buy it with a leather strap (because i like leather straps) or buy a rubber strap and buy a custom strap later?

It's really up to you. A lot of people are saying that the noob rubber is great and way better than the H fac rubber. So, if I were you, I would take it with the rubber and buy a custom strap.

By the way, which dealer has the 111N on stock?

I have friends who gave their rep strap away as freebie when they sell one of their many 24mm PAM. On top of that, a good strap will make your watch look much better and worn much much more comfortable.

Thanks for the reply, i'm going with the rubber strap then.
Any advice on a nice leather strap which doesn't cost too much (not willing to spend 100 bucks)?

The latest rubber straps from the noob factory are actually very comfortable. I was very surprised when I got mine. Actually had it on and enjoyed it a few days which had never happened before with any rep pam.

Any advice on a nice leather strap which doesn't cost too much (not willing to spend 100 bucks)?
Take a look at the strap dealers sections on this forum. there are very talented strap makers on board RWI. Also check out the wrist check threads for inspiration and ideas.

The leather strap from Noob is not really bad. Just, they are not as good as the straps in aftermarket.
And the rubber strap is very good and comfortable

Buy the rubber and buy one of leather in after market, It is a good solution

I got my 111n noob with rubber and it is pretty good. Only problem is that due to the indentation near the lugs, dust tend to accumulate.

Thanks for the replies, does a strap for a pam111 has to be 24/22 or 24/24 or is personal preference, if so what do you prefer?

24/22 for comfort...
If I were you I'd also check on Bob strap on eBay, probably the best quality/price ratio around.
They've also got a web page, look for Waccex.

keep in mind that the buckle you going to get is 22mm, so you need to get a new one if you get a 24mm strap.

True - spare 24/24 plain buckle costs you like 10/15$.

I only wear 24/22 or 26/22(Rad) for dress watches

Can someone tell me what an asso strap is? And is it better than the stock leather, because i rarely wear a rubber strap, so maybe this is also an option.

Asso or assolutamente strap is a type of an OEM strap from Panerai. Its a fine brown strap which supposedly feels and wears very nice. It was first introduced with pam 339 iirc, but can also be bought separately. There is also a few different replica versions of this strap sold by the rep dealers. Im not sure which of them is the most gen like, but there should be a comparisons made that can be found on the forum.
