I've been wearing my Noob 111M (SN 1524) for about 5 months and I've been wondering if anyone has tested it for water resistance. I'm not looking at diving and probably not even light swimming, but I'm curious to know if it can hold up. Anyone tested it OTB?

No comments on the specific model. But I understand that the general rule of thumb with the reps is to get it checked prior to getting wet.

There is a good thread in the tutorials section about this stuff and how to help seal the watch. Def worth a read as making em water tight is def something I'll be doing as my 111n arrives!
Cheers

On the most of my PAM's (M, N) it was sufficient to grease the caseback and crown gaskets. I also greased the tube gasket.

The crown guard shouldn't press the crown to weak against the case (gasket). This can be fixed with shaving down the crown guard, on the inner side, a little bit or using a thicker gasket.

My 026k is the only rep I've swam with out of the box... It survived nicely.

All of my other recent Pam handwound reps did fine after minor attention... Greasing of all seals and tightening of the caseback etc... The new breed of reps is heads and shoulders above the commonly available reps of just a few years ago.
