Pardon my ignorance, I've tried to read up on this topic but still have some questions. I've always been under the impression that Swiss movements are superior and have always got them when given the opportunity. However, I am currently looking at the PAM111M by Noob-Maker and am not sure if I should go with Swiss or Asian movement. While I believe the Swiss will be better quality, they appear to look identical and the Asian movement in fact has a higher number of beats per minute like the genuine. What do you guys generally recommend? No point spending more money if there is no benefit, I might as well buy a nice strap. Is it better to have a 18000vph with a better movement, or a 21600vph? Thanks!

So, I just saw this thread:

You have anwsered your own question, save your money and buy a nice strap, the quailty of the high beat asian movement is very good, great finish ect. Or if you are wanting piece of mind, then send the watch to one of the forums watchsmiths and have it serviced and waterproofed..

+1 I AGREE

The "Swiss" movement you will receive will not the same of the original in the thread you are indicating.
You will receive, at the best case, a "cheap Swiss" Low beat movement with a "cheap" Novodiac shock protection system instead a Incabloc and with an horrible Swan Neck , the same or worse than the rep one.
Save your money and you will get a very good and accurate Asian mvmt.
Just my opinion
