PAM111h purchase and straps

Hi guys, been away from the site for a while and Panerais came up in conversation in work the other day, reminded me of how when I had not long purchased my UPO that I had a great need (well, more of a desire) for a PAM. Well Ive just put an order in with Silix for a PAM111h. . Did fancy one of the Ti or PVD PAMs but cant justify the extra layout right now (house renovation!!! :roll: ) and have read how good a rep the 111h is. Put in my order and am now just waiting for him to get back to me so I can make the payment via paypal.

Cant wait, this is probably where my Panerai obsession begins! I hope the PAM isnt too big, then again I can carry off the UPO so should be fine. Can anyone recommend a good source to buy straps on the net? Im thinking nice, but not pricey :lol:

I would really recommend TCStraps (go with GeF line or if you have the money Mario Paci, make use of rebate on this site) or just get it custom made by tootall. His price is reasonable. Personally, I am wearing an old Mario Paci XI Papaya Brown and Tan on my Ti PAM. At that time E from TCStraps has given us special Big Ball Specials. I kinda miss his offer.

At this time, more than a year later, the strap has shown its patina and it looks really good on a PAM.

If you want something really nice but don't want to break the bank, I can not recommend anyone more than Tootall. I have two of his custom straps and they are amazing. Check him out you will not be disappointed. His straps are totly handmade also.

Thanks for the replies guys, I will check these out . I think the straps can really set the watch off if its the right one.

Does anyone know if Silix confirms reciept of payment and dispatch? I paid by paypal a few days ago but havent heard anything so far ( I know that patience is often the key in this game).

Arrrghh, just realised that for some reason the bloody paypal payment has gone through as an 'e-cheque' and takes 7 days to clear! Why the hell has it done this? Has anybody had this happen before!? Pretty annoying :evil: I definately didnt ask for it to go through as an e-cheque! Who would!?
