PAM1117 from TTF ? What about quality ?

Hi there!

I see VSF version seems very nice on pictures except for CG that not respects the glowing line of the genuine.
What about TTF version that seems on the market now ?
A least @Thehitman have one ? Could you give your feedback ? Anyone else ?

Well the glowing line on the TTF is like Gen that’s why I swapped the cg from the ttf to my vsf. The quality is very similar but of course the vsf is slightly better.

VSF clone movement, lumed dial font, lumed strap stitching but wrong CG lume line.

TTF a7750 deco plates, non lumed dial font, non lumed strap stitching, correct lume line on CG.

On a side note I had a very hard time getting a vsf 1117 it took 4 months back in November because they were out of parts…. Now I don’t know if they are discontinuing this model or they just ran out of some parts? I was told by several TDs it’s out of stock but got lucky Puretime had one on hand and did not need to get it from the factory.

As the watch has a closed case back, in fact the movement is not a problem... A7750 vs P9010 clone : I suppose it may be easier to source A7750 parts in case of repair need.

Do you already sold your two watches @Thehitman ? Is it possible to make some pictures side by side ?

Are you able to give your feeling about finition quality ?
Is it the VSF that has strap screws on the wrong side ?

It seems to be difficult to get a real 1:1 watch... We should replace the VSF complete case by the TTF one

They are very similar both have their draw backs the screws are on the opposite side on the vsf but the case is slimmer due to the caseback and clone movement. Reps will never be a 1:1 but they get very close for the price since the gen is about $15,000 vs $300-$400

The vsf is all around a better watch but the cg lume line is wrong… that’s why I bought both and swapped the cg

I also have a vsf 1119 and the cg lume line is correct… so is the 1118 but they screwed up on the 1117…

So VSF screwed 1117 and 1119. Only 1118 is correct

CG = Crown Guard. The thing at 3:00 that ... well, it guards the crown.

Oh…..? There aren’t many Gen pics but I see what you mean. I like the lume line better.

I have a spare 1119 case so I could sand the CG to match the gen… but it might look worse as the REG and TM might sand off if the lume crevices are deep. ummm don’t use 24mm tubes on the carbon cases I learned the hard way and snapped the lug trying to get the white strap off. That “hole” does not go all the way through to push the springbar so I cut the strap off and tried to break the spring bar, let’s say I broke something but it wasn’t the spring bar. So I got a new case and dropped the internals in it.
