A very attractive model, in my opinion. The combination of a green dial and blue hands is just as beautiful as it is important to replicate it like a gen.
With movt., no problems are foreseen, although it is interesting how they will repeat this terrible inscription on the back.

A great choice from TTF. Let's hope they don't blow this project to smithereens ;-)
Just a photo of gen from the Internet to show how beautiful the colors and textures are, but they are beautiful only as long as they are so complex.
The dial is not bad, although the sandwich is usually thicker, and the colors are not as saturated. But since this is an expensive model with a platinum case, the essence of objective claims will probably boil down to one thing: why was the case not completely polished, as it should have been, all the more so that fully polished models in this case are in the TTF assortment ... .
That there is no picture on the back of the crystal, I'm rather glad. The case when panerai make a platinum model in this way is more shameful than a TTF steel one.
In the meantime, the main thing is the dial disk and hands, at first glance they look spectacular.

Quick change system, instead of screws and again incorrect engravings. In fact, it starts to annoy: they clearly did this caseback for PAM1116, but again they did not bother to see what should be engraved there.

Today my TTF 1116 arrived and I want to share my first thoughts and of course the first pictures with you. A detailed review will follow when I have more time.
pro:
- very nice dial with correct cutouts for indices and numbers
- the colors of the dial, the printing and the hands seems to match quite good
- overall look and feel is very good
- the movement is very silent
con:
- the watch is too thick (16,2mm while Gen has only 13,4mm)
- the movement has not the "flying hour" like the P9001 - although this probably is a pro for many users, who (like me) hate this function ;-)
- the case is of course not made of platinum. The choice of brushed SS is imo not soooo bad, because polished SS would miss the "satin" look of the Gen Platinumtech
- the engraving on the caseback is partly wrong (XXX/200 instead of XX/75)
- TTF implemented a quick change system, where screws should be used
- the warranty sticker on the back looks like a bad joke ;-)
All in all this is of course no First Class Rep, but a very beautiful Rep for a fair price.

Looks impressive, mate:thumbsup:. BTW, I wish every single watch manufacturer in the world would abandon their strap change mechanism and go back to drilled lugs. Screw or spring, they just re-invented the wheel...and made it square.

Should be. I never heard that HWF made a Rep of the 1116 too. I just wonder how Ryan managed it to take phots of this watch without a single trace of the sunburst on the dial ;-)
