hey guys,

i'm new here - recently bought my first rep (franck muller casablanca chronograph) from mary at watchinternational. turned out great, seems to be one of the best FM reps out there.

i've been doing a bunch of reading on the PAM's and i really like the 177 - however i was wondering if there was a similar 111 "super-rep" out of the factory, without having to go into doing mods.

are there any 111's that the dealers sell that would be of similar "1:1" quality of the 177?

There are "ultimate" reps but they aren't near the quality of the 1:1 177L. If you aren't looking to do any mods, your best bet would be to find someone who sells pre-modded 111's.
Sead at Supermirrors has a nice 111j.
Vac does some nice 111's as well.

why not try the new 005 that is coming out nearly the same as 111 but with different dial and solid caseback

Its from the same factory as the 177L which is the newest best closest to gen there is.

the new 111G are pretty good. I got 2 for my sons, lume is great, high Canon pin and the CG is better then the one on my vac 111. 200 USD...you cannot go wrong

so - essentially i'm better off getting the 177 if i want that style with the see-through caseback. the 005 looks pretty good, but i really wanted the exposed movement.

you could always keep your eye out for members selling their already modded 111's too..

IMO sead's looks really good
