PAM111 - Which strap do you guys prefer?

Leather or Rubber? Which is more comfortable?

Leather if I am not planning on going into water. Rubber if I am planning on sweating a lot or going swimming.

Leather is more comfortable IF you get the right leather strap.

i ordered the brown croco one because i heard that the leather one was really bad quality. anyone know about the croco one?

Are you guys asking about the replica straps? Any of the replica straps (Asso included) are crap leathers. The rubber straps are silicone, so it's like any OEM.

If we're talking about rep, I'd rather have croc than regular leather, and the rubber feels better than both of those. Better than all of that is a custom strap.

Rubber H or Noob are almost like the gen and way confortable
Leather normal or croco bad quality in reps (exception: H maker 390 strap looks good)

I have a question. I want a thinner brown leather strap, similar to the stock one. A good many of the ones I see replacing them are really thick. Anyone know of a place to look for one? Only looking to spend ~40 on it.

I havent seen yet a good qulity rep leather strap. Thats it. If leather you'll need to source a custom one, there are plenty of good strapsmiths.

Rubber is a different issue: some of them are gen like, watch the advices ie. 104, etc, watch the advices of Ale.

The preference is determined by the way you'll wear it.

I'd go for a great exotic one from Rob Montana.
