That does work...for like 3 secs (no its not the momentum, it actually works) and then it stops again.

Thanks for the tip though. I think I'll take it to a watchsmith.

May seem like a stupid question... but did you wind it completely? Not trying to be insulting but I've seen a few not realize that watch is a manual wind.

Same here. Known a few people not realise it is a hand wound movement in the 111 and not auto winding.

Lol yea I did. The first thing I thought was that I had to wind it. I did wind it completely.

I just had it serviced here in South Korea. It turns out that it was probably caused by me dropping it.

Never occurred to me that a tiny drop like that can damage my watch. It was like a 1 meter drop on hard wood floor landing strap first.

For around 30 bucks I had it fixed/serviced, waterproofed and time corrected (it was running slow).

Lol, you might have stated in your opening thread that you dropped it from a metre to the floor

As I said. Never occurred to me that that was the reason.

Not until the watchsmith said: 'it looks like its been dropped'.

EDIT: It was a few hours after it was dropped.

30 bucckkkss?? cant go wrong, i need to move to korea

Yea. I think I might have to open a thread about that watchsmith for foreigners in Korea.

Its a tiny place with a watchsmith who has been there for 40 years. Its not the sort of place foreigners would go in. Its very very close to the U.S embassy/Tourism area.

Fun fact I learn from there: When you give your watch to department stores for repair (warranty or not), the watch is sent to experienced watchsmithes around the country. Not the watch maker or the department store themselves. (At least in Korea).

That guy showed me all these watches that was sent from department stores (with their packing) he has to repair. Even though department stores only do the sending, they still make profit off you if you are paying them to get it repaired.
