Just looking for a bit of advice. First off, after over a year of daily wear, the crown last week decided to stop turning the hands when adjusting. No issue, I just tightened up the screw which holds the crown in play. Sorted.

No I have noticed that the watch is gaining time. (+20min/24hrs)

Am I right in thinking that the swan neck is just for show? IE on the balance wheel, I can see there is both the regulator and beat stud, the regulator stud being fixed within the swan neck.

If the swan neck is just for show, how do you regulate the watch?

If the swan neck is fictional, what does 360deg turn in the screw equate to in time?

I'm not about to take it to a watch shop as I live in France and don't want it crushed.

Yes the swaneck is fake, Just move the dagger with a toothpick. But I suspect the problem might be elsewhere. Use the Lepsi app to check if it is magnetized.

If it is, there is a simple device to demagnetize it.

Cheers for the response, after posting I did a bit of background reading and came to the same conclusion. My main hobby is building custom loudspeakers, so it wouldn't surprise me if the watch got into contact with one of the speaker drivers.
I think I've remedied the problem by doing a *DIY HACK*, placing the watch near a subwoofer running at 30hz. It's been 20hours now, and seems to be running fine.

Thanks, I didn’t know that trick, but I’m no audio guy. For me it was easier to buy a $15 demagnetizer, thinking it will might happen again the the future. I had my watch magnetized because I placed it on top of my laptop, right where the speaker was located. I didn’t think it was that strong, but when you leave it overnight…
