PAM111 questions

Currently having a PAM320 (love it), a PAM587 (most beautiful case) and a PAM372 (at TD for repair) and now the next one needs to be a PAM111. A beater, but with a beautiful aesthetic.

Where to buy the best version, and even more important where to buy the best waterproof with incredible lume and sandwich dial PAM111.

Is there also a model just like the 111 but then with silver hands?

Open for advise. Thanks!

Any TD can source a V4 model. Choose a TD you are comfortable with and go for it. You can also check the M2M section as this is a pretty popular model and comes up for sale from time to time.

as far as which model is just like the 111 but with silver hands, I have no idea. The Pam guide does a great job of providing examples of like watches and there are members here who are far better qualified to answer this question than me.

Enjoy the 111. It is an awesome watch!

Out of the box you can buy it from any TD. They will get exactly the same watch from exactly the same Noob factory. Sandwich dial is expected on all Noob PAM111 V4 (if it doesn't have one then it's not a PAM111). Best waterproofing and (more) incredible lume can only be obtained by having the watch improved by a modder, in which case you will have to buy them from BK, Marlin2284 or some other trusted modder.

There is no manual wind Panerai to my limited knowledge that has silver hands. The nearest would be the PAM390 but it has gold hands not silver hands and it is a Base Luminor not a Luminor Marina like the PAM111. The PAM104 and PAM299 are 44mm Luminor Marina with polished hands but these are automatic PAMs and have a cyclops on the date which some do not find appealing. The PAM312 and PAM359 are 44mm Luminor Marina with polished hands also automatic sans the cyclops but these use the 1950s case design not the Bettarini case on the PAM111. And down the rabbit hole we go.

Good luck with your search.

Thanks for your comprehensive answer! I'll probably reach out to BK or Marlin to have it a new Noob V4 modded (and with all screws tightened ;)). Where are they located (Asia, CONUS, EU)?

As I already have a 50's case I'm definitely going for the Luminor case, so the 111 still seems the best option.
