Hi guys, it´s my first post in the Panerai section. I joined RWI last year and i have done a ton of reading, almost everyday, and recently i started liking Panerai´s a LOT. I started reading about this and i understand that many people start their collection with the pam111, even though there are better reps with closed caseback, but i don´t mind the open caseback.

I ordered from toro this pam111, i paid on Friday and today he is giving me the QC pictures. This is my first panerai, and i think i have catched a flaw on the QC. Can i post them here? @ALE7575

Why don't you just email Toro?

It already happened to me, and a good TD immediately confirms you if there is really a problem (and offers you to source a different watch) or if it was just from the angle of the photo (and sends you additional photos to confirm it).

Indeed he will get a new piece if some flaw is there and if it's not he will send you a pic from another angle (or lighting could be different) to help you decide...

Since you think you have a flaw and that this rep is in a transition period of evolution, It could be interesting to see the pics

PUBLISH THE QC PICS, but if yours is a silly flaw I will delete them

Here they are:

OyiCMXQ.jpg

Doesn´t the crystal seems to be more raised than normal? I know that the rep is raised, but this seems to be more raised.

Here there is another picture.

also inside one of the purple screws on the top of OFFICINE PANERAI seems a bit odd (the color)

Correct me if i´m wrong, but shouldn´t the lume be more blueish?

Sorry, but as I guessed your questions are silly with all my respects
In a normal thread they should be deleted and the thread closed. This is the reason why we don’t allow QC pics. But the watch is interesting to see the current evolution of Noob watches delivered

Your watch is correct, with nicely finished V4 mid-case and bezel, V3 lever (as usually), “Fat” V3 Crown (not as usually but very frequent) and improved crystal in relation to V3 with narrower bevelled.

CRYSTAL
“Doesn´t the crystal seems to be more raised than normal? I know that the rep is raised, but this seems to be more raised”.
The crystal must be raised in gen and reps
As you can see in the Luminor 44mm casesets review thread
PAM Luminor 44mm CASE-SETS - Noob vs. KW vs. H maker - ALE-Klockis Review
https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb...SETS-Noob-vs-KW-vs-H-maker-ALE-Klockis-Review
Crystal has a raised vertical side non polished and above that a bevelled polished edge. Therefore GEN and REP crystals have to be really raised, as showed below:

CRYSTAL-Technicalterms-1copiar_zps6b73cbc5.jpg

So, all is perfectly explained in above thread, and you can see your watch is OK.

JEWELS
“also inside one of the purple screws on the top of OFFICINE PANERAI seems a bit odd (the color)”
You are toalking about the jewels not “purple screws”
Could you show me a pic of another watch where we can observe the differences of colour in the Jewel you are talking about ?? Everything is OK my friend

LUME COLOUR
“Correct me if i´m wrong, but shouldn´t the lume be more blueish?”
Yes I correct you: the lume have to be greenish not blueish.
In the same way could you show me where have you seen the lume should be more blueish ?

Please do your homeworks before asking for publishing QC pics
Everything you have consulted was in PAM Section explained previously

Congrats on your watch

As you can see I had already allowed QC pics to OP and he had published them. He has even got my answer.

Therefore, leave to Mods and Admins to give advices about where publish the info, mainly if you are advising another forum

We are completely able to solve people problems without help

Just to clarify it

Thanks for answering and correcting me.
The jewel i was referring to is to the one on top of the F, it seems to be more reddish than purple in the picture. The other jewels are okay.
Also, i was reading in the https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb...sion%96Compilation-of-data-Wristshots-QC-pics and on the first QC pictures of the pam noob v3 some lume were blueish that´s why i had that concern.

I though about the jewel colour being off and I looked at a few of my own pam reps and yes there can be a variation with the jewels on a movement due to angle and also the colour of the wheel below the jewel
