PAM111 P V4 noob 1:1 best edition fully wound only gives 8 hours.

Hello,

I'm new here but I've been a visitor for a long time learning from your experience.
Just got my first rep and it is this.

I tested it for two days now. It only gives 8 hours fully wound.
I have to release the crown (without changing the time) and then set it back (no extra winding) to start the watch again.
I am disappointed because I found other forum members getting 2+ days from this watch.

What should I do now? should I send it back?

When you say fully wound, does it mean that you cannot turn the crown anymore?

To be sure if I were you I would send it back or if you feel confident and have the experience to disassemble the movement completely and inspect all parts under 10x loupe making sure all gears are good and pivots are good. Getting the hard dried oil off the movement, they use a oil that gets hard and crust after a few months. There is no moebius in these factory fresh watches. Like the gentleman said paying attention to the hands. I dont think its the hands because in one hour the movement would stop after a complete revolution landing on the hour hand again. If you think its the hands just set it a few minutes before the hands touch and watch the hands if they stop when parallel with each other. Could be a number of possibilities wrong with it. Sounds like the mainspring issue. Good luck

Hello, new update:
First test it stopped after 08:05 hours
Second test it stopped after 08:15 hours
Third test it stopped after 09:15

I'm seeing a pattern here. This results indicate that the hands are not touching, thus making your idea most likely. I am not confident in disassembling the watch so I'll continue testing and update this thread.

Fourth test, it stopped after 09:10
Fifth test, it stopped after 08:55 :cryingbadly: (counted 66 clicks unwound)
Sixth test, it stopped after 08:55 :yawn: (counted 67 clicks unwound)

Out of desperation, I contacted PT support and they ask to return the watch for repair. Thanks for the help guys.
