Pam111 Not working

Hi,

So I Just receive my PAM111 from toro and sadly it is not working. Just would like some advise from fellow members on what can I do. So i manually wind the crown upwards or clockwise until it become tight but the movement is not working unless I force the crown to the tightest position, then the movement will move, if i let it go, it will slow down then not move again.

Any solution/advise experienced member can help me with? Feeling very frustrated and disappointed. =(

I would contact toro first to let him know that you received a DOA and wait for his instructions, he will probably work it out with you. Be patient and good luck!

I know it sounds silly but give the front glass a firm smack or two. You would be surprised at how many times this fixes a 6497 movement.

Good advice for life too. A firm smack fixes a lot of things.

Glad I found this thread. Got a 113 from Toro and it was DOA. Was really starting to get bummed since I had been waiting over 6 weeks for this watch since the first one got nabbed in customs. Searched on here for 6497 DOA and read Coldi's thread about giving it a good smack and thought why not what have I got to lose. Gave her a couple good smacks in the palm of my hand. It's been running great now for two weeks and has only gained a few minutes. Thanks guys.
