PAM111 N V4 Noob with Y-Incabloc fix & Longer Micrometer Screw

Hi.
The new PAM111 N V4 Noob has been released!
From what I can see on the photos it fixes the infamous incabloc to the Y-incabloc and the micrometer screw is longer. At the same V3 price.
However the swan neck is not updated.
I am not sure about other improvements.

This comes at right time as I have done months researching on the PAM superep and ready to pick the V3 with incabloc mod.
Will get the V4 soon!

Movement:	Platinum plated Asian UNITAS-6497-2 21600vph hand-winding movement with dagger swan neck regulator and flat-top movement bridge blue screws, all blue letters are engraved then filled with blue ink rather than painted on the movement directly, with E-Serie

Case:	1:1 replicated 316F high grade stainless steel case, new style crown guard with ball-bearing.
Crystal:	Scratch-proof sapphire crystal with colorless anti-reflection coating (Swiss standard, single-sided, same as genuine)

Bezel:	Polished stainless steel bezel

I may as well make my first post on this thread as I've just pulled the triggr on a V3 yesterday.

This newer V4 to my fairly untrained eyes appears to have the V3 fat crown and lever? The Y incabloc does however look better, I'm wondering if I should ask my TD to source this instead of the V3 he's currently sourcing.

I copy-paste my opinion:

IMO this is a comercial trick to finísh stocks of V3 parts, the crown is “fat” V3, the CG lever is of course the inaccurate noob lever as usually, and the caseset don’t seem a V4 with nice lug contours and detached from the cushion shape as real V4 has.

Regarding the Y-incabloc it is not GEN Incablock, is a nicely modded rep Incablock, the same as currently used in new rep PAM 127 movemnts. Of course lyre spring is also rep. Swan neck spring is the same inaccurate Noob as always. Micrometric screw seems a bit improved with longer head and longer thread (but not enough) and the tip is wrongly pointed (maybe the same screw used in new 2015 reps of PAM 127).
The OFFICINE PANERAI engraving on bridges is like a joke. Reason enough to reject this watch

I think is not correct to call it PAM 111 V4, becuase the caseset is not (or at least no completely) a V4.
For me this rep is just a Pam 111 V3 with a nicely modded Y-incablock and horrible OFFICINE PANERAI engraving on bridges.
Calling this version PAM 111 V4 is MISLEADING and for me a commercial trick as above commented

Having a dilemma getting a v4 from Ryan or V3 from elsewhere.
It does seem to have a fat crown and non v4 case? I cant really tell.

Yes, these concrete engravings look better although still thicker than gen and usual V3 engravings

Unfotunately there are a lot of variations between all sources of these so-called Noob "V4". See below a link to a post where is compared a QC pic of this "V4" from TSwatches and a V3. It is in the middle of Intime and Puretime pics:

The case on Intime Catalogue is obviously V3 with bad lug contours

Therefore we have a watch wrongly called "V4" without concrete specifications, mixing V3 and V4 parts, with longer but pointy screw, with variable engravings and rep modified Y-Incabloc

To keep away IMO, if you are looking for the best version available

In relation to get a V3, it depends (as previously) on your luck, if you are lucky you could get a V3 with some V4 improvements: crystal, slim crown, and nice lug contours (correct CG lever will be almost impossible)

Puretime Incabloc is also modded without doubts, but nicely modded (notches on the upper edges are missing)

I saw the Intime Incabloc seems worse but maybe another batch from the manufacturer making the modd

Bottom-line: Noob is clearing up their warehouse so let others buy the transition versions and come back within a couple of weeks... just keep an eye on the QC pictures meanwhile. The real V4 will come after all V3 parts are gone! It's not even summer so just have some patience !!

I received mine last week. First PAM and dont regret it.
I dont care about inacbloc shape or other details, because I dont concentrate it on it yet. Recommended.

Nice! What strap did you go with? I'm debating the rubber one but not sure of the quality.

prepare to buy a oem panerai or di stefano strap. might cost as much as the whole watch... go for the rep rubber in the meantime. chinese leather feels like plastic. for perfect look i recommend a matte and not too colorful strap. brown croc looks awful on that.
