Hello all

I recently got this PAM111 from m2m.
Could you please help me know if the movement is alright ?
The first day when I got it, when I winded it, it was unwinding a bit.. as like an old phone (https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/618DcHVzshL._AC_SL1500_.jpg)

However now it just resist a bit but doesn’t unwind.
I’ve made a video that might be easier to show the current way it winds

The reason why I am also asking this is because the power reserve is between 24h and 30h. I’ve read that usually it should have a 50h+ power reserve.

Could you also pls confirm me it’s a noob v5 if so, how did you figure it out?

Thanks your your help
Cheers

Hello.

Firstly, it is impossible to say 100% what kind of factory and version it is, one piece of video at a time. But considering the movt. Finish as well as the P series, this is most likely a noob.

Now, regarding movement. Yes, you are right, PR should be 40-50 hours, if you wind it to the end, and also it works fine.

Everything is fine on your video. This happens as it should.

If the springs unwind, that's one problem; if you don't wind them all the way, it's another.

The backtrack when winding is normal. Just look at the wheels while winding. There’s that small, round lever that needs to lock in to hold the spring barrel from unwinding itself every time you turn.

I may be in the minority but a 24-30 hour reserve on a used, Asian made, 6497 movement in a replica seems fine. It may need to be serviced or you could just replace the movement. If it were me I’d just wind it every day if I was wearing it and wouldn’t spend any more money on it until it stops working.

I agree. Why would anyone want more than 24hrs? If it lasts through a long night and into the late evening, sitting on to the drawer, then that should really be more than enough
