PAM111 DOA. Advice needed

Hi guys,

I just got a PAM111 H Factory from Trevor this morning and it is DOA. I gave it a wind but still not moving. Now the crown will not turn anymore (just like how it is after a full wind) but the second hand still does not move, and the balance wheel is not spinning.

I tried slapping it around on my palm, and shaking it and this gets the balance wheel moving momentarily before slowly dying off.

Any idea why this is happening, and is this going to be an easy fix? i really dont want to go through the hassle sending it back to china....

Does the stem look/feel like it is installed correctly? What happens when you pull it out and set the time...any issues?

I would suggest taking the watch to a local watchsmith to check it out rather than sending it all the way to China. Do discuss with your dealer about the situation. He may be open to covering or sharing in the cost to get the PAM working again.

Seems normal, when i adjust the time it turns freely and the time adjusts fine. I just cant wind it, thats all.

I guess i will drop by a local watchsmith and get it sorted out. have emailed trevor on this. Waiting for his reply.

Both watches in the same package have problems. the other piece an IWC Top Gun day wheel is stuck.

That's why never let a bad watch hangout with the good watch. Bad influence.

Take off the case back and look at the stem screw, its a small screw located right by the stem area. Make sure it is tightened all the way (without force) and then unscrew it HALF a turn back.

Send it back. Trevor is a great guy. Just remember to ship with tracking.
