PAM111 didn't fit inside the cuff. Would 297 have a better chance?

My PAM111 with a thick leather strap wouldn't fit inside the cuff. Anyone run into this and find the metal bracelet versions, which I like, fit better?

I was depressed...

Can't help you, although I'm wondering, if you want your watch to fit under your cuff why not go for something sleeker and thinner?

I LOVE my pam to show on TOP of what I'm wearing! :)

To be honest, I think you'll have the same problem with any Luminor. Grab a Noob 292J before they're gone mate. If they're not gone already. That'll slide under your cuff and it's a beauty. Got my 111 on now actually.

Get a Rad with handwind movement, should be able fit under cuff but beware of the lug wired screws issue though..................

go thinner strap - if you're wearing a dress shirt that tight you dont want a thick jumbo sized beefy strap with your sleep dressy look anyway...

I have to wear a suit to work every day. I wear Luminors and sometimes my Fiddy or my 6154. None of them fit ...., BUT wait a second, I don't want them to fit inside! Ha!

As much as I love most PAMs, they are simply not a dress watch. Neither is another of my favorites-APs. When I wear a tux, I go with a super thin Movado quartz and with a business suit one of several PPs or my grail-a gen 1931 Tribute Reverso. My one and only Rolex is too thick too, though their ads should a guy in a tux wearing one. Fat chance.

A thick strap makes that little hump with the buckle, preventing it from going under the cuffs.

The bracelet does wear a little thinner.
