PAM111 Crown Guard Replacement (uk)

Hi,

Basically I bought a PAM111 rep, but the crown guard is damaged. I've found a few on ebay but the prices are a bit rediculous. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these.

Links would also help as the CG may be gen, hence the "ridiculous" price.

Well, I might have exaggerated a bit ;p Most of what I can find (ebay and google) is around £60-70, which on a decent rep would be completely fine, obviously. But it's a bit of a beater, and not the best rep, so I was hoping to spend less.

Actually I have found them on taobao for £20 but the process of dealing with an agent and so on is new to me so it's a bit daunting.

Oh really? ok. It does say Panerai 111/005 in the item description. How could you tell? out of interest (so i can avoid it going forward).

It showed a couple of photos one of a cg on a watch (looks like a gen Pam) and then the replacement cg. The 111 shouldn’t be a flat cg unless it’s a graffiti movement (f series or older) the rep Pam 111 has the newer type cg which is rounded/domed and brushed.

Can't you just ask TD for parts?

Since he indicated that it's "not the best rep", I am guessing it is not made by Noob. So parts may or may not fit the watch.
