PAM090 Back cover

Hi, I just ordered a PAM090 from a Trusted Dealer. When the dealer sent me the QC pics, I noticed that the watch had an exhibition back which PAM090 does not. The watch has already shipped as I have paid for it.

Question: Is it possible to get a PAM090 back somehow and put it on the watch, and if so, where would I go to get it?

Hi mate,

The purpose of QC pics is not to check if the watch is accurate to genuine, but only to check if it's the right watch and if it doesn't have scrathes, dents, dial paint peeiling off, ....

About your caseback quest, the problem is that even if you can find a closed PAM090 caseback, you need one with the exact same size as yours, or it won't fit. Knowing these replica parts comes from different factories, it's not sure they has all been made with the same specs.

If you don't like the watch, you can sell it in the member to member sale area as a "catch an release" for just a few bucks under what you paid, and then try to find another one.

Contact jacksontse. He may be able to help with at least a sterile or marina militare solid case back for your 40mm Pam.

no, sorry, it doesn't work that way. You can resell it here if you want, though.

If you approved the QC pics I feel like you wont be able to get a refund but if you ordered a watch without a display back then you have every right to send it back.

Once you'll receive the watch and start to wear it it won't matter much. All reps have flaws... The flaw on yours is an open case back that nobody can see when you're wearing it.

So, you're one of those guys who to pass its reps for gens...

Probably 99% of the population has never heard of Panerai
Probably 90% of watch lover have never heard of Panerai
Probably 80% of people who have heard of Panerai don't know that the 090 has a close casback.

You can change all those figures to 99% and still be safe IMO.

I have yet to meet anyone that actually knows what panerai is
Maybe its because I live in the middle of nowhere though (Colorado)

Honestly, Do what is best for YOU. Dont buy reps for other people's admiration/approval. Buy them because you love the watch design and there is no way most of us can afford multiple ~$5K+ watches.
Better to own the replica of an item than not own it at all, right?

What is the point of QC pics if they send you the watch before you get pictures. The whole point of them is to verify that the watch is the correct one. Your first post was not clear on this.
So yes, you should be able to return the watch.

I realize I dont really want to go and send the watch back as the quality is superb (besides the wrong case) does anyone know where I can obtain a case for a rep PAM090? Do any dealers carry parts?

Check DSN (Davidsen in Trusted dealer section), he sells most of the caseback for 30$.
