Hi all,

I am intending take the plunge into the world of Panerai and get my first Pam, and want it to be the PAM088 Luminor GMT.
I am UK based and have dealt with PT,T4D and Narrika before, however i dont think they carry this model or at least not at the moment.

So your comments please on my choice, what faults there are if any on this model, and who would be the best choice to source this for me.

Many thanks.

Wow great i did a search through the forum on your posts and couldn't find anything.
Sorry to be a pain but which would you personally reccommend, i have watches with both movements and to be honest i'm not that fussy as long as the whole package is reliable and looks the part.

The 7750 is the better watch has sapphire and better sub dial placement

Oh,my friend Robert,I think I found someone who like the Panerai PAM model watches too,I like this style too.I had a original Panerai watch, but I want to buy a new one,but for the bad economy situation, this time,I will try a replica one,I saw some very nice replica watches from some websites, but I think I will have a trial from the www.bwo888.com, I have communicated with their sales manager for most of the details, and I think they can supply the good replica watch, here to share the website with you,my friend with same hobby.
Best regards!

Peter

24mm at the lug end.

The OEM Panerai straps would be 24mm at the lugs and 22mm at the buckle end. I prefer 24/24 straps, though.

The choice is yours. Check out the strap thread stickied at the top of this forum if you're looking for a source to purchase from.

Robbo, since you're in Manchester, there's a guy I order from regularly and he's based in London called Rich.

He specialises in custom PAM straps......that looks like a brilliant rep you've ordered by the way and T4D was an excellent choice.
Enjoy :)
