Pam029 v2 QC w/ specific questions

I received my QC photos from our TD.
I have a few specific questions/concerns that hopefully our pam experts can chime in and help me out as well as our community.

1. "6" number at the bezel appears to chipped and missing some black paint (see first 3 photos). This kinda bothers me.

2. Small scratch/ding above the "22" (see 2nd photo)? It doesn't appear to be a reflection/dirt :(

3. How is the cyclop alignment and AR on it, I can't really decide.

4. Is this a single or double AR?

5. How are "6" & "9" on the dial, it looks like an improvement over the v1, correct?

6. Black spot below the CG screw (3rd photo), I hope it is only a reflection/dirt

7. CG cut out looks perfectly squared and pretty flush.

8. Strap is a little scratches, but I don't mind.

9. +/- 10 seconds per day does not bother me, i'm ok with that.

Please help me with above concerns & thanks for looking!

whos the TD?

It is irrelevant at this point. This thread's intention is not to call out any TDs but to assist in QC before shipment.

Anyway, all/most TDs are getting the watches from the same place.

Thanks.

Watch looks nice:)

I do not know if there is any other difference than the romoved AR coating on the frontside!

BTW it looks like a 115/95 mm strap!

2. Yes, looks like a gouge mark
3. Looks OK
4. dunno
5. dunno
6. I think it's just reflection
7. dunno

1. 6 does look wonky in all 3 pics. I'd ask for closeup pics of that.
2. I would agree, but it's not in the 1st photo. Again, ask for a closeup.
3. Cyclop looks ok. No idea about AR.
4. No idea.
5. No idea.
6. I also think it's a reflection. Notice the same reflection on the side of case.

Side question: Under the order number sticker, it says 7/11. Are you ordering 11 watches, and this is your 7th in the order? :elvis:

Hi nyc

1. "6" number at the bezel appears to chipped and missing some black paint (see first 3 photos). This kinda bothers me. YES I THINK THERE IS A LACK OF PAINT IN THE BEZEL 6

2. Small scratch/ding above the "22" (see 2nd photo)? It doesn't appear to be a reflection/dirt . YES IT SEEMS A SCRATCH OR DEFAULT

3. How is the cyclop alignment and AR on it, I can't really decide. iT SEEMS ACCEPTABLE

4. Is this a single or double AR? I CANNOT SAY THAT
5. How are "6" & "9" on the dial, it looks like an improvement over the v1, correct? OK

6. Black spot below the CG screw (3rd photo), I hope it is only a reflection/dirt . JUST A REFLECTION

7. CG cut out looks perfectly squared and pretty flush. PERFECT

8. Strap is a little scratches, but I don't mind. IT IS COMPLETELY NORMAL IN THIS TYPE OF STRAP

9. +/- 10 seconds per day does not bother me, i'm ok with that. OK ALMOST PERFECT

I DON'T LIKE SUBJECTS 1-2, THEY ARE ENOUGH TO ASK FOR MORE DETAILLED PICS OR TO REJECT THE WATCH.

Good luck
ALE

Point 2 is the only one worth mentioning, but if this is all, I'd take it. The next one could have movement issues ect......

It appears that this is the date that they actually took the QC photos.

This is my grail piece and I wanna make sure there are no unnecessary problems. If it was only one small thing I wouldn't mind, but there are a at least one valid problem and a few minor.

When I sent the TD my issues he automatically apologized and told me he will replace the watch and send new QC photos - great service & communication.

Will keep you posted in the next few days upon receipt of the new watch QC photos.

Phew! My QC photos had the order number and a 1/2 or 2/2 for my two watches. 7/11 seemed pretty extreme.

The QC Pics are a really good idea! At least this way...you have a good idea of what you expect to end up with. Good Luck!

I think you are way to sensitive. Dont forget when checking the QAs they are magnifyed ten times. The real watch is much smaller and you barley will see anything!

JeMuMue, trust me I know the size of the watch & QC photos, this is not my first rep nor pam.

The first watch was automatically rejected by the TD after I explained to him my concerns. Please see the 2nd round of QC photos of the new 029. I honestly think it is perfect.

"6" on the bezel seems perfect

no visible/major scratches

cyclop appears to be aligned

"6" & "9" on the dial appears to be the correct ones

Perfect CG

I think I hit the jackpot on this one. What do you think?
