PAM029 GMT hand is running slow

I just got a new 029 noob from Ryan and I noticed that the GMT hand is running slow and therefore loses time of the GMT time zone. It's not just a little bit, I'd say at least 4-5hours per day. I reset the hand several times now but it keeps going out of sync. Watch has the modded ETA 2836 GMT movement.

Has anyone else had this problem before?!

Ive got the same problem with my rolex explorer II. I think the gmt wheel slips sometimes. Its not actually running slow i think.

My 'solution': set time to example 12pm. Then set your gmt to prefered time. Then manually rotate time trough dates untill youre at correct date.

This works in my case. Somehow if i set the watch up in this particular order i dont have any problem. I think it has something to do with the date/gmt wheels slipping.

If the GMT wheel slips, maybe adding a dial washer on top could help?

Will report back later, so far it seems to be working.

Unfortunately that didn't help, it started to run slow again

Nah, there's about 1mm of clearance between the GMT hand and the dial.
