pam005 question

Can I put in a movement A7750 from pam220 in the new 005 pam? I will put a swiss eta in the pam220.

not easily. the 005 is set up for a manual wind mvmt. so i'm sure it could be done, but not easily would be my guess....

i know a guy that has 20k in a 86 stang lx. put most of it on credit. i stopped asking why do people do things a long time ago.... would i do it? no. but i have been accused of being way to pragmatic. this query reminds me of a hot rod kind of idea...

Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm new in hand winding watches... Since now I used to have just automatic and quarz watches...

And now I got the 318L and the loud sound makes me go crazy!

I see you recomending to put in a high beat movement , like the 111J movement on a 005K, 318L or 177L....

But my question is.... Is the high beat movement less loud than the movement on 005/318/177??

I don't mind if the movement is worse or better... I just want to have a quiet silence movement.

The high beat I put in my 177L is definitely more quiet ....
And if you have it serviced it should be even better.

The Pam 005k can take a swiss ETA 6497 movement from a Pam 111H without problem right?! No modifications needed? Will this be a good idea? I just want a more reliable movement on the Pam 005k.

Not to High Jack but.....Would it be too tough for a guy with no knowlegde but all the tools to swap a high beat 111j mvmt for a 005k.

I heard it is too hard but that was from a guy looking for business.
