Well, this looks like an improved version to me:

Dial indices look very gen like with flat application although more pics could help.
CG looks as great as the latest noob with correct angle of the lever where it touches the crown.
Crown looks polished like gen
Movement has Y incabloc (but this was present in all latest noob batches I think)

Thank you @kilowattore

Took the plunge. Guess there's very little risk at $198 from a TD

PAM 000, or the zero, has for years -Noob and H Fac- been my daily beater. Lets see what this version is all about when it starts arriving to the buyers. Hard to tell from the pics but the dial, CG/crown and CB look accurate.

Been waiting for a long time for a nice 000, last time I inquired my TD wouldn't recommend any of the available versions at that time as none were good so I bought the Noob 111.

Hoping this one will get good reviews so I can finally add it to the stable.

Now that they've got the case set, hope there is enough consumer interest to spur them on to release other historic models. I will definitely jump on a 176 if they ever release one.

Well the PAM176 would probably be a few releases down if ever XF decided to take up the challenge of re-releasing the old Noob models. The two main components of the 000 and the 176 are very different (stainless steel case/sausage dial vs titanium case/sandwich dial). So if ever, it be more likely we'll see some more stainless steel models with other dials first than do titanium case next. It's all about economies of scale. Once the 000 sells well, and all the other SS models down the line, XF would have a reason to go into titanium cased reps next.

KW already did quite well in the shoot-out with Noob and H maker. Coupled with kilowattore's observations wrt the CG and crown, I would like to think that it is at least on par with Noob bearing in mind Noob's available case set is still a mix of V3/V4. That a Zero rep being released at this level of quality is something to be excited about, at least for me.

Same here, as the only PAMs I really like are the classic Luminors. Good to see something new coming around, haven’t been this tempted in a long while. Hope this release is as good as it looks.

Ryan has some good images too:

Lugs seem to be attached at the right position, which is very promising and elevates the case pass the Noob V3/V4 Polished crown with correct bevel also very nice. CG lever pin polished and sporting a correct round edge. One aspect I'm not so sure is the CP, is it flat like it is supposed to be? Price is excellent. If this is a hit for XF maybe they will bring an improved 390 sometime soon!

Ryan's pic shows the CP could use a little flattening (as well as CG pin being a tad too tall), yet it's on par with other makers imho. Dial looks very good to me.

Here's the video from Andrew's site. The CP looks to be mostly flat, but need other eyes to comment.

Yeah, on the video, you can see the slightly pointed center, but most of the CP is flat. The lever pin is properly shaped but it sticks out a bit. Nothing that a few minutes of loving attention won't fix anyway.
