Have you tried wiping the areas with the light residue?

Yep tried to wipe but it doesn’t come off. The inner part of the bezel also shows the discolouration. I’m sure I didn’t bump the watch into anything. Specially on the inner part of the bezel.

Have you asked the TD about this situation? The outer part you can clean, but the inner part of the bezel, that's something else.

Go get yourself a pen eraser. Comes off in 20 seconds. My wife bashed her stainless steel watch on mine and after trying everything else, that did the trick.

I have a ceramic PAM292 and I have used erasers as described above to remove scratches.

There is some information on the forum regarding this, I remember searching it at the time. Please let us know if this works on your 441 ceramic cases.

Do as stated here. with ceramic being so hard, you will get material transfer from softer metals (more than you would think, from door frames, hand rails etc..) and this makes these grey or silvery marks on black ceramic especially when its not a smooth polished ceramic. If you use the pen eraser it should take it all off. don't worry you are not harming the ceramic.

I tried that on a hidden spot on my ceramic bracelet, and I left it dull.

Been scrubbing trying to get it out but doesn't seem to go away hah!!

May go away with time, but I would watch out for the pen eraser. Maybe I didn't do it correctly.

Well scratch that! I used the other side of the eraser and sort of buffed it out.

It seemed to work really well as I can hardly see the spot any more. Not sure if this is dumb luck! So the scratch is gone and the dullness is gone as well.

You mean like those erasers with the white and the gray part? Which one buffed out the dull area?

That's correct. The grey actually has some sand embedded in it.

The gray (hard) portion is for erasing on thick writing material so an abrasive component is embedded. The white portion is normally used for normal sheets of paper. All this time I thought the white portion was for pencil and the gray for ballpoint pen erasure. You learn things everyday.

Guess it depends on the brand you use. Mine was white and blue with the white being for pencil and the blue for pen. I used the blue end and it got rid of the mark on mine straight away.

Used the erAser and it indeed removed the mark. Thanks to the suggestion. Wondering what caused it. I spent the day at the beach w/o swimming and those white marks appeared. Could it be because of the humidity or salt content in the air?
