OK., I've posted before on here about this. I'm looking to get 'into' Panerai. I couldnt see what the fuss was all about but I think I'm gonna be a convert having studied them a bit. (Model numbers still confuse the heck out of me but there you go)
Having a puny wrist these 48mm are no good for me, so I'm looking for a 40mm version or thereabouts.
Good Lume is a must, so if anyone has got one modded that they wanna send to good home PM me with price and pics
Whats out there ?

44mm will look great on a smaller wrist and none of the 40mm Pam's are very good reps. For a first panerai you can't go wrong with a 44mm 111 or 005. Both are 'super reps', all TD's carry them, you won't pay more than $250 and the lume is fantastic. What more can I say? You really can't go wrong with either and both wear smaller than you'd think.

I have a 6.5 inch and rock the 47mm! Get the right strap and it works

Decide what your preferred choices are - SS/Ti case, seconds/Base dial, display/solid Caseback, sandwich/sausage dial - and try to find one you like! :)
