PAM Thickness/Size

Hello All,

I am thinking about getting a PAM. I am actually deciding whether a PAM watch is something that would look okay on my wrist. I have a pretty small wrist - 6.5" diameter. And am worried that it will look too big. I have narrowed down my selection of prospective PAMs to buy from the trusted dealers.

One of them is the PAM261 special edition with deployment clasp on a black leather strap. It's 45mm diameter by 15mm thick.

Another one is a Radiomir, but does not say which PAM model specifically - this one is 40mm and does not state the thickness - with a normal buckle on a black leather strap.

I am already leaning towards the first one because the details given about it are more comprehensive and it is nearly identical to the gen. The second one honestly I am only really looking at cuz of its smaller size, but even that is a bit off because from what I researched there isnt a 40mm Radiomir that does not have the seconds dial (which this one does not have). And the details given about it are more vague and doesnt have the deployment clasp which I really want.

Anyways long story short, does 45mmx15mm look okay on any of you with smaller wrists (in the 6 inch diameter range)? Is it too cumbersome?

Would love any input as this is my first rep and I am new to RWI. Thanks in advance

I assume you are talking about 6.5" of perimeter, because for 6.5" of diameter you would need a 12cm watch !!! LOL

Seriously, PAM 44mm Luminor and even more Radiomir 45mm will fit perfectly your wrist (Radiomir wear less than Luminor due to the cushion shape)

Regarding PAM model choices, I advice you read the PAM GUIDE before purchase. I think you are a little lost at this moment. PAM 261 is a Low grade replica and there are no good replicas of PAM 40mm. Read a little please to not get disappointed.

First, check out this thread-------> http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/skinny-wrist-club-115857?highlight=skinny

It has pictures of folks with small wrists wearing various watches.

As far as wrist size and PAMs, I would say wear what you like. My wrist size is appx. 7 inches and wear PAMs all the time. They look fine. My wife's wrist is smaller and she wears my PAMs frequently.

I would avoid the 40mm PAMs as there really aren't any good reps of those available.

ALE - thanks for the feedback and the link to the guide! Btw, yes I did mean perimeter haha.. I will certainly do some more research. I guess I'm a bit antsy as I really want a good rep right away, but have to make sure I dont rush haha.

Fiddo - thanks for the link mate. the watches certainly dont look too big on the wrists from the few pics I've seen. also, encouraging to hear about your wrist and your wife's.

off to read this PAM guide - in the meantime, if anyone has suggestions for the best PAM rep models, would greatly appreciate it.

cheers!

It is easy: Go to Super rep and First Class rep in the GUIDE. All them are evaluated.

When you have some new choices ask again here

Good luck

Being antsy is good...but it can work to your detriment too. Just take your time to research things around here and you will feel absolutely confident about your first purchase.
