Hi guys and gals. See the attached image. I just received this watch and the hands aren’t turning. I think this is the issue. Easy to fix? Any advice? Thanks

Thanks Raddave shouldn’t the Regulator Lever be inside the swan neck too?

Yup it should be.

Where are you located? I sent a 127 to user oascom for similar issue he fixed it quickly and seemingly easily.

Also I bought it M2M and just checked the pic from the OP.

Looks like it was like this before he sent it to me which implies he knew it was dead/not functioning. What can I do? Can I get any moderator advice from you? ;-)

I’m in UK. Any recommendations appreciated. Not an easy fix I can do myself?

Yes it should , but it probably moved due to the missing screw

I doubt very seriously you can fix it yourself , as you might need to remove bridges ........

Thanks man. As I say pissed off as he said it had been serviced and clearly knew it wasn’t working when he sent it to me.

Contact the seller , see how he wants to handle this , if no resolution , fill out a helpdesk ticket ....

i would also highly suggest you hack the watch now to prevent further damage

Put it in the time set position (by pulling the crown out )

The swan neck and Micrometer screw are completely decorative, right? So that shouldn’t be the issue - should it?

If that’s the case, it’s most likely just be the screw that’s bouncing around in the case that’s causing the watch to stop running. Which could have jammed in there at any time during shipping. So it’s possible that the loose screw just jammed in there while in transit. Just saying it’s possible because I’d like to think someone wouldn’t have outright lied in a sales thread.

I also cant believe the forum didn’t catch the issue in the original sales thread. Usually people are all over things like that which is what’s great about the m2m area. I hope it all works out in the end but as jb3md pointed out, oascom has fixed issues similar to this before and that watch is definitely in need of a service. Hopefully he (or anyone) can fix the swan neck.

The swan neck has no measurable effect anyway (only for optic), but you have to find the small screw or make sure that it´s not in the movement!
Merry christmas
