Pam strap width for deployment buckle?

hey all, quick question.

i've got a pam063 coming, which i believe takes a 24mm strap.

but i was thinking of wearing the strap with a butterfly deployment clasp (to save wear on the strap), which only seem to come in max 22mm.
that means i could only use the clasp with a 24x22mm strap, right?

so any typical pam strap that's 24x24mm can only be used with a buckle, right?

thanks in advance for any input! :)

The rubber straps with the two grooves are all 24/22, both for the tang buckle and the deployant clasp. The rubber is thinner on the side without the clasp on the deployant version so it fits in the clasp. The rubber straps with the expansion sections are either 26/22 or 24/22. I believe that this is because the modern OEM buckles only come 22mm. When you buy an OEM strap they do not come with the buckles. It is assumed that you will use the single buckle that comes with the watch, with whatever strap you are wearing.
