Hey Guys, I did some searching and found that rubbing alcohol wipes (AKA Dust-OFF Anti-Static Wipes) can be used to clean my Pam and other stainless steel watches. Did some more research on these wipes and found that each wipe only contains 1% - 400PPM Isopropyl Alcohol. Just thought Id get our forum's opinion on using these wipes for our watches and others like it. Will using wipes like this dull the finishes on our S.S. watches? Or is it a good safe cleaning tool?

Nothing is wrong with soap. I'm talking about convenience on the go. Having Anti-Static Cleaning wipes in tiny packages in your pocket, car, or at work is easier than carrying around a cleaning solution.

The question remains though, does alcohol harm or dull the stainless steel?

Dryer sheets are the same exact thing as these sheets but they cost half as much and smell twice as good. :D

But why would you want your PAM to smell good? I want it to smell like a watch (whatever that smells like  ). And won't it clash with the vanilla smell if you have the rubber strap? :D

I use rubbing alcohol to clean our stainless steel sinks. I also use it on our other "fingerprint and dirt magnet stainless steel appliances". It works quite well.

Never tried it on any of my PAMs before....think I will now! :)

I have lens cleaning wipes in single serve packs. Kind of like the KFC wipes but made for glasses. I use them all the time on my watches. Usually in the car right after I clean the lenses of my sunglasses. For those in conus, I get them at Walmart 50 ct for $2.99
