Hi friends, have an incoming 1314 and I’m looking for the best source of rep rubber!! It’s hot here and the leather option it comes with won’t work! I’ve seen a couple of options on TD Puretime but the colors are limited…anyone have a good reliable source?

I bought this one and I'm happy with it. No idea how it wears compared to gen, but it seems fine. It's relatively comfortable in the humidity (a big watch like this will always be the worst case scenario)
It's better than the one that both HWF and VSF use, which has a weird "C" that is too wide
The "bump" in the middle only extends to the top hole, I think the gen has varied in this design and one that extends to the second hole, depending on what year it came out.
(AliExpress on top, HWF on bottom)

This store and the straps are ok, but the finish on the rubber straps is not so good. I have 3-4 of them, but for 12-14€ I can’t really complain

Other tells on most rubber Ali straps that I've seen are:
1) the words "OFFICINE" and "PANERAI" are not cut as deep as in the gen straps
2) rep straps are slightly shorter than the gen
3) some colors are a slightly different hue when compared to gen (black, white, and olive green seem to be ok)
4) the strap itself is not as pliable as the gen, it definitely feels different on the wrist
5) there is a line on the cylindrical part of the strap where one part of the rubber mold meets the other (you can't see it unless you remove the watch head).
But as the post above mine says, for US$10 to US$15 (w/o coupons and shipping) it's actually a bargain.
For the most part, you can only tell the rep strap isn't the real deal when it's right next to a gen of the same color. On the wrist, I don't think anyone will notice (stay away from RWI regulars and you should be fine

).Ordered 4 straps from this store, different colors…will let you know how it goes once received…ordering seemed pretty easy so far.

I switched back to the HWF strap, even with the shitty "C" because I noticed how close to the edge the lug hole is... It feels like it could tear apart easily, because the seam is right on the other side.

Mine arrived
Decent quality, hole in lug end on strap is not 100% centred. It’s 90% centred with a slight bias to the end of the lug end, it’s acceptable. Colour is perfect for the dial on my pole to pole. Worth the $17.00.
looks good bud, like the way it compliments the dial. What version of Pole 2 pole is that. Looks sharp!

mine came today, for the money you can’t beat it! Lug holes were off centered on a couple of the straps I mean not too crazy, I’m tempted to order more and do a stress test and see how much force is needed to pull a bar through!!..I got black, white and green. Prefect for summer!
I get my panerai rubber straps at buystraps.com. This is the picture of the gen on the right and the rep on the left. Im sorry for the dusts. I rarely use the black straps.

Also, the buckles are really spot on. I have the gen buckle and I just kept in in storage because its really indistinguishable.
