Just wandering if any of you good people tested their reps for water resistance. I see noob watches are rated to 50 mtrs. Do I take that with a grain of salt or is this accurate?
Cheers.

They're about 60-40 (good - bad) when I test them. They usually leak from the crystal or crown and are generally not too difficult to waterproof.

That is unless you want to waterproof a chrono.

Yup. Grease the seals and add proper O-rings.

Then my test is gutting the watch. Sticking in a dead movement and blank dial and then I go swimming. Correct seals as needed :)

had my 156 tested to 5ATM (best the machine could do) also with 3atm under-pressure..
although i did by this from a member f the forums who had waterproofed it..

but worked out great anyways ;) (i was a bit worried when the crown is not screw-in since who knows what o-rings are in there, but no problems what so ever, my new poolwatch ;)
