PAM Repair/Enhancement US

Just got a 299 in the mail today from another member and the circular date reader glass has a bubble on the inner part of the glade. This one bubble turns into several others depending on the light angle. Can some veteran members please advise on how I can get this fixed? I believe I will need to send it to a mod experts who can open it up and then address the issue with the glass. I would really like to send it someone in the U.S. fr quck deliver and fix.

Kindly advise.

Are you sure it's a bubble? Some Cyclops appear to have bubble because of the reflection of lamps, ceiling lights etc. Does it appear to move as you move the watch?

Go out in natural light and look at it...

Send it to Vac, I would do it but I only work on 6497 models. It might take a little while to get it back we are all booked big time. Good luck......

Please see the attached pics. It appears like a bubble, dot or a mark on the inner part of the glass depending on the light. In bright sunlight it appears to have multiple small dots. From my perspective the seller sold me a good watch and by no means am I accusing him of anything. I simply want to get this issue sorted out so I can enjoy this beauty.

Dear Coopster9 - Just took a peek at the pictures and you are coorect about the bubbles apperaing in the FS thread. I took that as a glare, but am clear on what that is.

I will be leaving positive feedback for you and as conveyed earlier in this thread and in my PM's believed all along you sent me a watach that was error free.

My big question for the PAM expserts is if this issue can be fixed by a enhancement or modification expert? I have PM's VAc about this.

The halo is produced for a lack of polishing in the edge of the cyclops lens.

I doubt a mod can improve things. Maybe you try to improve and you get other problems
